FOTD: THE NATURAL LOOK

Here’s my look yesterday. This is an example of a “natural- looking make- up”. A lot might mistake this as the “No Make- up” Look but there’s a thin difference between the two.

Natural- looking make- up is a look that is almost devoid of neon, bright, and pastel colors. It is sometimes called the “Neutral Look”, because it’s predominantly beige, brown, nude, and black. Sheer and warm pink lipcolors can also be used for an MLBB look just to slightly break the neutral shade on your face.

STUFF USED TO CREATE THE LOOK

- PHILOSOPHY NEVER LET THEM SEE YOU SHINE OIL AND SHINE CONTROL VELVET TOUCH PRIMER

- SHU UEMURA FACE ARCHITECT REMODELING CRÈME FOUNDATIONIN 734 (DEEP ALMOND)

- MAC STUDIO FIX POWDER PLUS FOUNDATION

- MAC MINERALIZE SKINFINISH NATURAL POWDER IN DEEP DARK

- EVER BILENA EYEBROW PENCIL LINER IN BROWN

- MAC SATIN LIPSTICK IN MALT

- CHANEL INMITABLE MASCARA IN BLACK

- MAC FROST EYESHADOW IN RICEPAPER

HOW TO CREATE THE LOOK

  1. APPLY PRIMER ON YOUR FACE
  2. APPLY FOUNDATION. BLEND EVENLY
  3. SET YOUR FOUNDATION WITH THE MAC SFPPF.
  4. CONTOUR YOUR CHEEKBONES USING MAC’S MSF DEEP DARK. BLEND EVENLY.
  5. LINE YOUR BROWS WITH THE EB EYE PENCIL. IT’S MUCH BETTER IF IT’S BROWN TO TAME YOUR LOOK.
  6. HIGHLIGHT YOUR BROW BONES ONLY MAC E/S IN RICEPAPER. APPLY A SHEER AMOUNT, JUST ENOUGH TO MAKE YOUR EYEBROWS POP OUT.
7. APPLY LIPSTICK.

Next FOTD, I’ll show you how the “No Make- Up Look" look. J
