Koolabah´s Autumn-Winter 2010/2011 collection Iko Iko presents simple shapes, pure materials and thoughtful details. All the pieces are modern and refined with quirky details, making each item a wearable piece of art. The main palette is black, red and blue.
The overall inspiration is taken from the traditional Japanese wardrobe - elaborated and tailored pieces with simple and clean lines, made of Japanese colorful fabrics. The collection also includes styled and comfortable basic wear for children up to 12 months. For colder days the collection offers warm and cuddly polar jackets, vests and overalls.
Koolabah's inspiration is drawn from Japanese simplicity & Scandinavian functionality, proposing clean lines, neat shapes & quirky details that make each piece a small work of art.
Koolabah.com was founded in the winter of 2007/2008 by fashion designer Nina Wolf and her husband Pedro Moreira. The idea of Koolabah arose when their first son was born. It was then that they had to confront themselves with the children wear market. Even though the market offers a lot of different brands and styles, they felt a need for a brand that could offer a truly inspiring alternative to contemporary clothing lines. An avant-garde line for avant-garde minds.
