Saurette Fall 2010 Collection Features Artwork by L.A. Artist Cooper

Shop Naartjie' Spring 1 Kids Collection

Contemporary clothing line for girls ages 2-12 Saurette has commissioned L.A. artist "Cooper" to design artwork for the Fall 2010 collection. Keeping with Saurette signature look - billowy dresses and beautifully detailed separates - Cooper's ethereal drawings add something fresh and exciting to the Saurette brand that hasn't yet been done in the childrenswear market.

Cooper, also known as Jessica Cooper, is a Los Angeles based artist whose work in paint, ink, sketching and sculpture has been featured all over the Los Angeles and San Francisco areas. Much of Jessica's work features fantasy themed landscapes, which is what attracted Saurette designer Lisa Kanouse to her work.

"As a designer, I am always looking for fresh & exciting concepts for future collections that spur emotional responses. When I discovered Cooper's work, I was immediately drawn to her whimsical artwork and knew it would be a perfect complement to the Saurette Fall 2010 collection."
